The main colloid mill parts include the motor, drive shaft, rotor, stator, adjustable gap mechanism, feed hopper, discharge outlet, and housing with cooling jacket. The rotor and stator work together to generate shear, the gap mechanism controls fineness, the cooling jacket dissipates frictional heat, and the housing contains the process fluid safely while allowing inspection and cleaning between production runs.
