A traditional apple cider mill focuses on crushing whole apples before pressing to extract juice, and a colloid mill isn’t usually part of that core pressing process, but it can be added afterward to refine cloudy cider or cider-based sauces into a smoother, more stable consistency. It’s more relevant to cider byproducts and blends than to straightforward juice pressing itself.
