{"id":3053,"date":"2015-02-28T03:47:25","date_gmt":"2015-02-28T08:47:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/globecore.eu\/?p=3053"},"modified":"2015-02-28T03:47:25","modified_gmt":"2015-02-28T08:47:25","slug":"uvb-1-bitumen-emulsion-plant-launched-azerbaijan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mill.globecore.com\/2015\/02\/28\/uvb-1-bitumen-emulsion-plant-launched-azerbaijan\/","title":{"rendered":"UVB-1 Bitumen Emulsion Plant was Launched in Azerbaijan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Early February, members of <i>GlobeCore <\/i>had a business trip to Baku (Azerbaijan). \u00a0The purpose of the trip was commissioning and launching of the previously supplied UVB-1 plant (capacity of 2 m3\/h), designed to produce bitumen emulsions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project was completed on time, \u00a0in full compliance with international quality standards &#8211; which allowed the workers of Azerbaijan to start \u00a0production of bitumen emulsions.<\/p>\n<p>Today bitumen emulsions are generally used for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Surface treatment. \u00a0The main advantage of using bitumen emulsion is its ability to work with wet gravel;<\/li>\n<li>Fine sealcoating. \u00a0Selecting an emulsifier allows for quick coating. \u00a0Active traffic can be resumed in 1 or 2 hours after completion of works;<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of cold mixes for recycling directly on the site;<\/li>\n<li>Impregnation of soil consisting of gravel and sand;<\/li>\n<li>Seal coat (waterproofing, providing non-skid surface, anti-glare surface, reducing deterioration and cracks);<\/li>\n<li>Surface tack coat treatment (for best bond strength treatment of pavements);<\/li>\n<li>Macadam pavement (gravel impregnated with bitumen).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><i>GlobeCore<\/i><\/b> produces all types of bitumen emulsions to meet the challenges of road construction, as well as modified emulsions for roofing and waterproofing works.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Early February, members of GlobeCore had a business trip to Baku (Azerbaijan). \u00a0The purpose of the trip was commissioning and launching of the previously supplied UVB-1 plant (capacity of 2 m3\/h), designed to produce bitumen emulsions.
